We just got off a 16-hour Emirates flight from SFO → DBX; probably why I look so frazzled, either that or I was focused on standing still during this time-exposed shot. Either way, we had another all-night flight to catch in several hours. Ain’t life grand?

Saturday, May 15 — Dubai

Our Emirates Airlines flight 226 Boeing 777-300ER lands at DXB Dubai International Airport at 7:20pm (on May 16.) Jen and I take a taxi to the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel where enjoy some middle eastern food, drinks and views of the Burj Al Arab hotel and Arabian Gulf.

Monday, May 17 — Flight to Seychelles

After several hours at the hotel, we take a taxi back to DXB and board Emirates Airlines flight 705. We take off at 2:10am, flying to SEZ Mahe, Seychelles.
