My first Guiness at the Norseman, Dublin, Ireland — August 13, 20249

Ireland 2024 Journal

Tuesday, Aug 13 — Dublin

Land, checked in to newly refurbished O’Regans bar and guesthouse on 26-27 South Great GeorgeŠs Street, Dublin. The property has two bars, a smaller cocktail bar and larger beer haul where live music is played. The vibe is great. Tired, but I take a walk passed the famous Temple Bar and over inviting Ha’penny Bridge. a walk along O'Connell Street Lower, and randomly run into the Dublin Portal, connecting to New York City, exchanging video of each place to the other. Tourists were waving, smiling and trying to capture the attention of those on different continent, while some were being shy. Thinking it time for my first proper Irish-poured Guiness, I head back over the River Liffey, and find The Norseman, which was established in 1696. The Guiness is good, slightly bitter, and I am very happy.
