Landed at BCN around 5pm; grabbed bags and Ubered to The Corner Hotel and checked into room 608; went to pool and had a jamon had dinner at Boraz

Saturday, Aug 27 — Barcelona
Brunch at Teresa Carles (gazpacho, coconut bacon, eggs and potatoes and cappuccino)
Walked to Palau de la Música Catalana (It’s an architectural jewel of Catalan Art Nouveau, the only concert venue in this style to be listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.) Then around the Gothic Quarter; then to the Cathedral de Barcelona; Macchiato at the small bar; then to the Palau Güell (1886-1890); walked back to hotel quite tired; dinner at Jobs, lovee, I walked up to the club scene at Carrer de Tuset, sleep.
Sunday, Aug 28 — Barcelona
Slept late; Breakfast at La Roel Brunch Club
Walked to Gaudí’s Casa Batlló and toured for a few hours. Had a Coke Zero on the rooftop. Casa Batlló (1904-1906), the only 100% modernist work by Gaudí and one of the greatest exponents worldwide, a work inspired by the Mediterranean Sea, made in the fullness of the artist and with total creative freedom.
Visited the Mandarin Oriental rooftop and each had a Copa de Cava rosé bubbly. Walked back to the hotel and tried to nap; roof top beer
Dinner at the seafood restaurant La Llotja in El Nacional; walk home
Monday, Aug 29 — Barcelona
Breakfast at SandwiChez shop; walk down cafe street; check out of The Corner Hotel. We taxi over to Hotel Seventy House Hotel and check into room 401. We walk down the street and grab lunch at a local cafe named Mundo Casero which is owned by a Ukrainian chap who arrived some years before. We order jalapeño cheese sticks, Spanish salad with good tuna, polo empanadas and olives. Yum.
Visit Casa Milà (La Pedrera) by Antoni Gaudí; saw Cateneri arches, Apple of his eyes
go back to hotel and log on for work. Sleep.

Wednesday, Aug 31 — Barcelona
Tour to Ax-les-Thermes and then to Andorra. Work; Dinner at La Pepita; work; sleep.
Thursday, Sep 1 — Barcelona
Brunch at Lato cafe
We walk to the gothic Basilica of Santa Maria Del Mar and visit inside and on the roof. The Rose Window from 1459 in gorgeous in the afternoon lights, as are other stained-glass windows.
Walking around; Pla de Palau Public lighting lampposts by Antonio Gaudí in 1879; walk through La Barceloneta visit SPAR @ C/ del Baluard, 30; walk to beach, swim in the Mediterranean ocean; go back to hotel to work; dinner; work

Swiss LX 1955 to Zurich on an Airbus A321, HB-IOF
