Tuesday, Sep 25 — Dubai
My Emirates Airlines flight 128 Airbus 330 lands in DXB Dubai International Airprt, UAE. I am met at the airport by my former China traveling partner, Louise. and her flatmate Chuck. They take me back to her apartment. On the way we stop at a bakery for some tasty Arabian bread and hummus.
Friday, Sep 28, 2007 — Muscat
My traveling companion Louise and I hop aboard Al-Khanjry Tranport’s Muscat Dubai Express bus from Dubai to Muscat, Oman.
Thursday, Oct 4 — Dubai
My bus exits Oman in the early morning and we arrive to the Dubai Spice Souk soon after. I take a taxi to the Dubai Youth Hostel at 39, Al Nahda Road, Al Qusais Area. I take another taxi and figure out where my bags are. I take a swim and head back to my hostel. In the evening I wander around Dubai Creek area and enjoy a shisha pipe with local flavor.
Friday, Oct 5 — Flight to Thailand
I take a taxi to DXB and board Emirates Airlines flight 386. My Boeing 777-300 takes off at 7:55am, headed for BKK Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport.
