Boeung Kak lake was leased to a development company in 2007 which subsequently filled the entire lake with sand and begain building condos. This photo is now a glimpse of history as this place no longer exists.
National Museum, Phnom Penh, Cambodia — March 14, 2004
The National Museum building houses the largest bat population found in a human-made structure. Efforts to remove the bats proved unecological so artificial ceilings were implemented to protect the treasure in the museum from the dropping bat dung. Sunset is the best time.

This entire downtown area of Phnom Phen had remarkable similarities to the spaceport town of Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine in Star Wars. Like that place, bizarre Food creatures, weird foods and sketchy people were all here as well.
