Rural Khmer house, Kratié, Cambodia — March 24, 2004

My favorite thing to do in the rural town of Kratie was to look at all the tradition Khmer houses on stills. They were everywhere and I could not take enough photos. I hope these beautiful wooden houses survive the onslaght of rampant development that is inflicting most of the region.
