Lao journal entries

The magic begins the moment you cross the border into Lao(s). The food is delightful and the river trips relaxing; but most of all, its the people and their way of life that intrigues the imagination. From the ancients wats of Luang Prabang to the rivers and caves of Vang Vieng, Lao opened her heart to me and showed only what I dreamed to find. I hope to return and see the change, but until I do, I will rest assured, for only positive reports are coming from this, one of the last bastions of traditional Southeast Asia.
