The highly successful yet non-money-making
Overland Explores.com shut its doors yesterday. "We just
couldn't affort the outrageous hosting costs required to serve
up the thousands of high-res photos we've recently scanned..."
said Brian, Overland co-founder. "But we will be back when
we find cheaper alternatives!"

Hey... sorry for the somewhat-sparse updates this week... i'm
on the book tour
right now (woohooo! pics coming soon!) and am currently going
from city to city with about 4-hours in each hotel, in which
i choose to sleep. Right now I'm in the San Francisco airport,
early for my flight to Seattle, so I'm trying to update the
site on one of these shitty Internet terminal email thingies
with little rubber keys and some whacked-out browser. and it
costs fifty-cents per minute..... i'll give it a shot tho. ack
this takes forever to type.... but ROCK ON!

Salon.com
isn't amused by my book. shocking.
So this Salon.com writer, Damien
Cave, wrote an article about FC a while ago saying that
Fuckedcompany is gonna run out of companies to write about.
I replied,
explaining that while my site may suck ass (I'll the first one
to admit it...), he's wrong. Anyway, he got all huffy and today
emailed me a link to his nasty
review of my book. Meanwhile, considering the source and
what my book's about, I consider a bad review from pissed-off
Salon.com as an endorsement...
